Welcome! I am a Graphic Design professional with a passion for artwork that tells a story. I graduated from Texas A&M University – Commerce, earning a BA in Studio Art with a strong emphasis on Visual Communications and New Media. My name is Hunter, but I prefer to draw creatures rather than hunt them. I am from Plano, Texas and currently still reside there. I began my interest in illustration and the arts when I was only a few years of age. I began drawing my own comics in elementary school with original characters based on people I knew, and continues to draw to this day. I’ve always looked at pop culture animations, movies, comics, and graphics to inspire me in my work. I strive to create and collaborate with other artists to improve any visual medium with unique expression. I studied in the Visual Communications program at Texas A&M University – Commerce, focused on Motion Graphics and the Adobe Suite of graphic design and motion graphic tools. Currently, I primarily use Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe XD. I have experience in commissioned illustration works and collaborations on short films, film editing and direction. The Timex story and company focus demands the use of time-related elements, which we’re incorporates opening in the use of a time-line as the book’s center spread as well as more obscurely with the use of a graphical representation of watch hands as the page numbers throughout.
